Last Saturday Lucas came over to help us load up the old fence and take it out to dad's house to burn. We thought he would enjoy breaking and burning it and it gave us some quality time together. Dad let Lucas help start the fire and then gave him a sledge hammer to demolish the fence. I don't think that Lucas saw this as work in the slightest! He had a blast and we got an extra set of hands.
After the fence was burning they decided to play a game of football. Dad, Anthony, Lucas, Brennen, Winston and Christian (Shelley's two boys) all got a game of family football going. They were great to include everyone, even Brennen, in the game. I had so much fun watching. Then we finished up with hotdogs over the fire and of course s'mores!
